By now you’ll have your ‘destination’ clearly thought out, from what you learned last week.
Now it’s time to move on and start learning some of the critical steps you need to take in order to successfully loose your excess weight, and keep it off for good!
This week’s tip is about insulin – a key player when it comes to body fat.
Insulin is a highly important hormone when it comes to losing weight and keeping it off.
You produce insulin in response to increasing levels of blood sugar. This is because higher than normal levels of blood sugar are bad for you, so your body has a system to bring them down – and that’s the job of insulin.
When insulin in present there’s a good chance your body is laying down fat. In addition to that you won’t be burning any of your excess body fat. This is why you’ve got to take this hormone into account when you’re losing weight.
In the video I explain the difference between ‘good carbs’ and ‘bad (fattening) carbs’ using the example of white and brown rice. These two have vastly different effects on your blood sugar, your insulin, and the amount of fat you’re going to lose.
I also suggest some simple changes to make that will have you laying down less fat and burning more.
